Apex Dungeon

I found an Apex dungeon but I've never seen anything like this before so I was wondering if it was safe to approach? I'm in the middle of mining for ores and I don't want to die and have to be sent all the way back to my ship does anyone know if I can approach this thing without being shot up or killed?

 

Get some bandaids and use your shield a lot and you should be good.

 

So there weren't any guards and I was able to loot the items that I wanted, which surprised me because the big Apex labs above ground never let you take anything and I found that peculiar. Since the big winter update I don't think you can loot anything from Apex labs and that's really sad because they had cool stuff

 

You have 'finish' the Apex Lab dungeon in order to mine stuff. If you keep on progressing through them, you'll find a giant thing at the end which you can de activate so that you can mine stuff.

I've seen several of those before. I think they're Human dungeons though, as most of those items are found in Human bunkers.

 

Pictured in the OP is a human microdungeon. It is unrelated to the larger Apex Test Chamber dungeons that have the obstacle course.

There are over 150 types of microdungeons that you can find on virtually every planet, almost all of them underground. If you don't see any enemies in them then it will be relatively safe. None of them have any crazy traps right now.

 

And 5 of them is outpost related.

 

I'm always on the lookout for Outpost microdungeons. All that awesome building material...
