There's actually a lot to explore right now, the heck biome is pretty neat. Whatever your problems with the game, it'd be better to put them into your thread than just make a vague thread.

I am playing a alpha sector only game right now. Just farming and mining and chopping animals. I have the better merchants mod installed but I have no idea how to use it...

 

Here & there I am playing. Plenty to do for me.... Lots of building, exploring, meeting, spelunking, treasure hunting, general hunting, eradicating aggressors, surface mining, caving, resource gathering, farming, cooking, smelting, planting, rebuilding, tearing down, replacing, wandering, examining, sight-seeing, searching, seeking, and finding.

So I am pretty busy most times when I play. I would add a bit of chatting/talking to that when in multiplayer, but not usually much... I am mostly solo play.

 

i play a few days a week atleast and ive got 100+ hours into the game already and i still have fun every time i play

 

Played well over 100 hours and last time I was on, landed on a planet that already had a flag on from one of my other chars. So.. yeah.. hitting the same planets as my other chars is annoying. Already mined out the good ore

 

Just to remind You: This game isn't finished. We play it because we wanted to participate in Beta testing and search for bugs while exploring the galaxy. I am laughing at threads like "omg! my <insert something here> is missing/ it's broken, now I can't properly play a game! This is shit! i am going to play minecraft". What do you expect? It's beta! Even half of the content isn't implemented, optimization isn't good enough and we have bugs everywhere.

I wasn't aware religion was in beta and taking feedback? Is there a registration form available? I'd like to push for some minor changes.

 

the op was pointless complaining. there was no feedback in his post so your sarcasm is unfounded.
plus..yes...religion is in a continuous state of "beta" since no one can agree on how to properly implement it. if there even "IS" a proper way.

 

He should have elaborated, but he has a point. There's a severe lack of content at the moment.
Also, religion is definitely out of beta, it's just enjoying a lot of post-release balance patches.

second point: contended. no religion is feature complete, thus all are alpha.

 

Alpha was The Mother Earth followed by Father Sun. The Devs lost their original vision for Existence:The Game after humans started posting their ideas for "improvement" on life's forum. Now we're probably around in Lambda somewhere. Certainly not Omega.

 

I still enjoy what little there is to do, but I do wish they'd do these "THICK AND FAST" updates, not these tiny content patches for unstable version.

I also want to see the stuff we got promised back before this was even a game. Those deer/elk things were what drew me into the game.

 

The Glitch I see on mecha-horses reminds me of the mounts I was looking forward to as well. And then when you attack the guard, his mount disappears and he finishes the fight on foot.

"If I can't have my mount, neither can you!"

Tease us some more, whydon'tcha?

 

I mostly only play permadeath. I don't feel like there are enough goals or things to do with a normal character, permadeath kind of brings more meaning to most things for me since the main goal is to not die. I don't play often though, I'm waiting until stage 3/full release to get too into it again.
