Anyone know where I can find Lunar Base Platforms in 1.0?

Been looking for Lunar Base Platforms since the 1.0 release, and I have yet to find any.

I've found Lunar Base Blocks, as they are part of Hylotl ocean cities, but no platforms.

Are they still findable?

 

I haven't seen any, granted I haven't specifically looked for them, and I've played over 100 hours since 1.0 came out. However...I did get a bunch of lunar base furniture recipes during the mine mission. The one where you fight the erchius crystal boss. Perhaps try there? S.A.I.L. lets you replay missions.

 

I found Lunar base Platform blueprints in the erchius mission in 0.9 unstable.

Hopefully they are still there in 1.0?

 

Guess I'll run that mission a few more times to check. Maybe the Loot RNG will take pity on me.

 

Yeah some times you just get shaftted by RNG, took me 7 runs to get the damn bunks after 1.0

 

I don't think they can spawn in the lunar base, I looked on the wiki and didn't see the platform blueprints there

 

Some of these items are egg and chicken items, you can craft them but you need to have picked them up to learn the recipe.

So if you want my advice? /admin and /spawnitem lunarbaseplatform. Then you can craft them out of tungsten. Is it cheating? A little.

 

arent there lunarbase like minibiomes? thought i saw one once but didnt take the platforms because i didnt realize that i cant craft them...did anyone find one and got the coordinates or at least know in which kind of biomes they spawn?

 

I just checked the wiki to see and I couldn't find anything, but that does not mean there aren't structures on planets that use the lunar base platforms. But at that point it's all you to find them.

 

They spawn on frozen biomes. Frozen stars are your best bet.
