Anyone know how to spawn penguins?

i figured out how to spawn stuff like dogs and chickens, but i cant figure out how to spawn a penguin. anyone know what they are called?

i couldn't even spawn dreadwing, would there be a way to figure out what stuff like dreadwing were called from the missions files?

alright, i tried looking hard for john, but it wasnt a monster. turned out penguins are npcs! that means i cant capture them, BUT they can be spawned using /spawnnpc penguin villager

well you can with /spawnnpc penguin villager.

 

Penguins spawn whenever and wherever they please. They cannot be controlled

caps matter. If you unpack the assets file you can find all this information and much more if you are willing to dig around in the files.

Wait, could you use capture pods to capture these or would they be immune due to solely existing in an instance.

Edit:
Capture pods don't work on penguin monsters, which is kind of a drag.

 

I tried that but it said i have insufficient privileges to spawn npc's. why is that so?

 

type /admin into the chat bar and hit enter to enable admin privileges.

Here's an entire list of commands and how to use them, if you want to just mess around or spawn items that don't show up in admin crafting.
(A huge list of items appears when in admin mode in any crafting bench and all for free, but it's not all the items in the game)
