I found some, could have been the gamma sector, although I don't know what it's for. Using it for fuel is a complete waste since it gives the same amount of fuel as coal.

 

Uranium gives fuel 4:1 ratio while coal gives 2:1 ratio, and it's also not used for anything else like torches so you can toss it all in your ship for fuel and not have to worry about keeping some for other stuff.

ridiculous amount of silver, gold, coal, iron, platinum, and diamond in the tar layer which makes it super easy to mine

Level 2 forest, This planet has a Prison when you head left from spawn but the real beauty of this planet is that of the minerals. I found platinum on the surface just after the prison.. From here I went straight down and hit Slime which is exceptionally easy to mine. (Granted i had a Plat Pickaxe)

I felt this planet was fantastic for ore ranging from copper - Diamonds(No Uranium) with an hour yielding 416 Copper, 728 iron, 578 Silver, 180 Gold, 135 Platinum and 101 diamond ( All Ore) This might not be that great im relatively new but i felt it was nice.

(I recommend you take lots of Torches and bandages as you will find lots of pools of poison in the slime biome. but one bandage mititgates the posion. Also there isnt much coal so take enough to leave afterwards.

There are 2 jungles at this location, a small green planet and a bigger red planet. Which is it?

After investigation i can confirm it is the large one. The smaller one has a glitch village on though.

 

I found a forest planet with blink tech in a chest to the left in a crater. It's under water.

I went there, and I haven't found any tech chests or bone/flesh yet, which is what I really wanted for my Floran's ship.

I found a nice big sewage biome though, so I might be on the wrong side.

 

I found some planets hidden behind planets. Gamma Litus Minoris III group.

The Arid planet hides a Moon and a Snow planet

 

Miniboss (Drops absolute garbage), glitch secret door, loads and loads of chests around the planet (mushroom blueprints in them), NPC selling stimpacks and a wizard hat and ofcourse a pirate shitp

I love those, having one as my base world feels like it's a secret.

 

I found probably over 100 uranium on my starting planet in 1 dig, and once i went to the beta sector it was EVERYWHERE, just dig down underground, they seemed to increase the ore spawn rate underground to encourage downward exploration.

 

Was this before last night's hotfix or after?

 

pretty sure coal gives 2, uranium gives 4, plutonium gives 6, and solarium gives 8. I haven't figured out what to do with the rods you can smelt them into yet, but it says something about possibly refining the ores

 

after, I've been finding fuel ores everywhere, uranium seemed super common underground, and once you reached the beta sector, even plutonium started popping up

Another planet in that sector was quite profitable in terms of decorative stuff. On Alpha Umbraxion 1207 I a (a moon), I found 4 apex labs starting just left of spawn. Nothing of any real tangible benefit, but if you like high-tech decorative stuff, there is more than you'll probably ever need there. I circumnavigated the moon, and the 4 labs were all that is of note there

EDIT: One thing of note, I was able to get a full scientist outfit (glasses, coat, pants) which I was pretty excited about. Also, over 100 florescent lights
