Go right from spawn, You will pass an apex lab with a tech chest. continue and you will find around 3-4 chests before a Floran tree house village which contains around 4-5 chests.

What i found in these were.

10 Diamonds (5 ore 5 cut)

3 hats (wizard, ushanka and hard hat)

EDIT: If you go to X Canopus 633 VI B (volcanic) and go left from spawn you will come across a apex tech dungeon with a butterfly boost

This was an awesome starting planet. ore rich, many chests, plat bars a few screens east, one easy tech chest, several abandoned Apex labs, Sewers a half days west. Crystals in a lava biome on the opposite side of the planet.

Apex base directly to the left and straight after is an Avian village with a market. Found Chef Spawner and an electric bass guitar in one of the chests.

There's also a mine if you go down enough. It's between the avian village and apex base, there should be a tunnel there, follow it down and keep digging. I found some uranium and diamonds.

 

I don't suppose anyone's got a planet that's got plenty of the purple-colored "Junk Tech" wall?

 

This vid shows how to find a gun merchant early on.

 

My starting planet post patch was pretty awesome. There are two stim pack vendors (glitch wizards) in little castles to the right a ways, a whole bunch of flowers, and, best of all, an Apex lab with (what i think are) references to portal. Oh, and there's a tech at the end of the obstacle course.

Noone was selling guns, even tho I did find the pirate ship. Help?

 

I also found an odd dungeon to the left that I had never seen. Just filled with pixels.

 

Is it just me or are all of the (guns) merchants only selling weak level 1 equipment now?

Edit: Appears as though that the craftable equipment being vastly superior is a bug.

Big ass planet, largest i have seen, contains at least 2 dungeons with antimatter generators that explode on activation and spits out matter blocks (needed for some crafting).

Also i found a horse head cosmetic hat. But loot may vary.

Anyone got a planet with much rubium?

 

The chest on X Canopus 633 VI b had a gravity neutralizer for me.

 

They changed the entire leveling system, seen in patch notes and on the main website front page. In short, there's only level 1-10 now, not 1-100.

You can't copy the -, you have to put that in manually.

Alpha Beta PsA 2780 VIII c (The one with the forest biome)

There you'll find some cool stuffs, just keep going left and you'll find a Toxic Flower Backpack, a Hiker Backpack, a Star Cleaver(Legendary sword, sadly it's pretty bad, good one to start the game anyway) and an Energy Dash Blueprint. I also found two minibosses, i got an Eye Sword aswell.

Airship a ways away to the left. To the right you have a large box (contained a grenade launcher for me) and further to the right a small wooden chest inside a hole (contained a legendary Sword for me)
Lots and lots of surface ore. Including platinum, diamond, rubium, several "fuel ores" and plenty of flowers for petals. Also has a few cute critters. This is the strongest airship gun vendor you can find since it's threat level 10. Did not dug deep underground yet. Planet is beautiful and useful.

 

I went left after the ariship and got a legendary rocket launcher.

Walk to the left from the spot you spawn from. After a min or two, you will start up a hill and notice a glow coming from inside a mountain. You have just arrived at the end of a Apex Jump Quest. There is no entrance on this end, so dig into the mountain and throw up a torch or hole in the wall and there you go: Tech Chest! I got the dash tech from it. Hope this helps out. Easy to find!!

To the left of the beamdown point, there is a huge mineshaft. It's a very short walk. There are large tunnels connecting to the main mine that go all the way down to the lava layer. I found a lot of gold and about a dozen diamonds just following the tunnels.
