Any Windows XP users unable to get splash screen?

Yes, I am aware of the know Windows XP issues, but I think my issues may be unique from others, and I am making this thread to check this.

I know there are XP users that can't get past the splash screen, but I was wondering are there any XP users unable to get to the splash screen in the first place?

Let me tell you exactly what happens when I try to launch the game and please let me know if you are having the same problems.
When I launhc Starbound normally, the launcher pops up just fine, but nothing happens when I click "Launch Starbound". If I launch the "open gl" Starbound, I'll get two errors, and an all white window labeled "Starbound Beta" that isn't responding. The two error messages are show below.





I am only thread to see if my situation is unique, and see if it might help fix the problem.
