Any of you got Starbound regrets?

I regret building on a planet only to find it has meteors, i'm now downloading a ship mod. I don't think i can handle meteors anymore.

 

I recommend Fully Customizable Ship mod, then you can have that base you always wanted.

I regret every time I post an opinion on these forums knowing that someone somewhere is going to have a bone to pick with me using stupid arguments like lrn2play, personal attacks, and "well thats just because you are an elitist". And yet I still do it for some reason...

I regret not purchasing this game sooner

I regret leaving my first shop NPC unguarded only to have him step outside and get horribly mauled by aliens... I never got to buy that wizard hat

I regret digging straight down even though I've played minecraft since beta and terraria as well I still do it >.>;

Oddly? Downloading that creative mode mod and using it liberally on my "main". I love the mod and all, it serves its purpose greatly and who doesnt love the liquid guns? And it also let me see all the "ice recipies" and find out what outfit I'd like to have for my characters. But... using it basically destroyed all my sincere effort on my main character through no fault but my own.

My only real true regret is that I didn't 'bound hard enough.

 

I regret making my home (all of them) out of explosives*, leaving a trigger somewhere... somewhere... and coming back to a random giant crater and thinking WHAT IN THE DELTA SECTOR HAPPENED TO MY HOUSE!
what I actually regret is never learning how to fly (why did we have to loose our wings, why cant the apex fly?)
*we really need to be able to do this, it should be a priority and as such, my ability to enjoy starbound is now directly tied to this feature

every thing above, excluding the part about needing the explosive blocks, is supposed to in humor
for real now I regret nothing at this time, im fine with building my house on a moon where no one can visit or even be able to find

This exactly. Lost interest after tier 2 didn't see any changes in difficulty.. all i see is just mining for the next best armor basically.

 

I have 0 regrets, love this game so much so far and cant wait to see what's int he future!

 

I regret setting up a complex and involved homebase which I staffed at great expense with NPCs, as their deaths are on my head because the chunk bug breaks my door locks and they constantly wander off and get eaten by the local fauna.

I'm currently waiting for the next patch so I can house my minions without fear of their inevitable, stupid, stupid deaths.

 

I regret putting up gun turrets and then having all my guards get killed by them...

Well long-term anyway

 

it was on an old toon, before the ore-rebalancing (i believe even before the murderbird update) and gold was really rare, and i had just enough for either gold helmet or pants, and i already had one piece of gold armor. so i made gold pants without checking what kind of armor i already had. turns out i was now stuck with two sets of gold pants : /

 

I regret not playing with friends. Friends are fun..when you realise how much of a whole they fill when playing multiplayer.

Yeah, i stopped playing seriously when i saw that the progression was out of wack. I'm going to wait until they release all the extra content, as it is now if i play too much i may not come back.
