Any News on the new years update?

I've been hunting around for news of the next update; but I haven't been able to find any information about it aside from the fact it is coming sometime in the new year.. does anyone have any good leads on when it will be?

I wasnt aware there was even a specific timeframe for the next update....

there isn't...except sometime in 2014.

 

They said early 2014; i guess that's 2-4 days. Probably closer to 4 days when it's a big update. There isn't much information about the content of the new patch (although maybe that's deliberately). There will be more information when the patch gets closer for sure.

 

Ah see, again the info is on twitter and reddit, two sites I'm not on often enough apparetly.

 

Yeah, I feel like Chucklefish likes teasing/announcing a lot of their content outside of the actual Starbound site

 

Honestly, I think with the speed that they're pushing out patches, it makes more sense to update via twitter rather than make a post on the site - especially since we're still so early in the beta. Although, they do post the patch notes when they release a new one.

 

Needs to update sooooon! Cant play till after the character Wipe!

 

The newsletter is supposed to come out today. There hasn't been any news on when the update is coming out. My guess is sometime next week if they're still following somewhat of the same update schedule as in the past.
