Today makes me a member for 101 days! :DD (WOOOOO!)

Not that most of you would care if not any :wut: but yeah!
I've known about Starbound for that long, and recently started Terraria fresh over due to my computer taking a dump. Which caused me to lose 120 hours of constructs and farmed items

I'm absolutely in love with the 2d side scroller style, as well as the music for the game (HUGE PLUS) minecraft, and terraria has music that will forever be in my heart.
I mean while working I whistle the Day song from Terraria (anyone else?) lol

But back to the point, this game has me so drawn into it, and the whole space traveling for some reason makes me think of Outlaw star, maybe cause my main character is gonna be like Gene (the best i can get to replicate) The worlds are amazing and if what i read stands true NO TWO WORLDS WILL BE THE SAME! how sick! different vegetation, gravity, water and inhabitants. AHHHHH STOKED! I didn't even mention the idea of mounts, future weaponry and I'm hoping for mechs. Mechs would make my lifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol

I apologize for fan boying and getting nuts but yeah, intense terraria player (i understand some might have more hours accumulated) the only other games ive sank that much time into has been Morrowind, Dota 2 and Dark souls really.

So yeahhhh looking forward to this game, keep up the good work!

My only worry is that Anticipation overflows TOO much, then people find the game disapointing just because it didn't live up to the fantasies they created.

And yet it still says "New Member."
Another example of why the member-tagging system is just unreliable!

I'll say; at this point mine should say fail with a line through it.

I don't even think that matters at this point. If it doesn't reach expectations. THAN PEOPLE MAKE IT REACH EXPECTATIONS! :DD

Simple, yet like the best thing ever.

I have nothing but high hopes for this game... I mean, there is possibility for endless gameplay because of NPC/Quest interaction, where even those players with the best gear will have problems completing the hard quests. That takes the cake in my book, because even games like Skyrim with it's supposedly adjusting quest-lines and dungeons is way too easy with end-game gear.

I don't tend to post so much at pre-release so that could be why but when the game comes out I'll be all over the forums! Lol

And this. The devs in terraria listened to their fan base by adding items and features they might have forgot or liked, so I have no worry with that =)

haha, I'm almost exactly opposite. I hang around the forums before release then abandon ship for the actual game. (at least that is what happened with TerrariaOnline.) This is a different game, so perhaps this experience will be different.

I'll be too busy playing the game to post on the forums. And if I'm on the forums, it means I'm supposed to be at work... sshhh...:X

Want a good time-sink while waiting for Starbound? Meet the Pyro is releasing tomorrow, as well as a new gamemode and new weapons for TF2. After a few months in development, hopefully it will be worth the wait.

I know how you feel. Over time, Starbound no longer sounds "like another Terraria" in my head, but a completely and uniquely new game that offers so many features that I've longed to see in games, consolidated into one! However, I also have started new games in Terraria, since my excitement about Starbound is quite high! As of now, I am playing through as a magic-wielding character, in honor of Terraria. However, with my mind on Starbound's Sci-Fi genre, I am currently building an underground city, complete with wire-powered doors and platforms...the closest I can get.

Aside from that, Love this community and excited for not just the fans, but the developers as well! ^_^
