I was thinking it would be cool if there was an Insectoid race, a race that worked together perfectly and is very nomadic (as it would be fitting and there are no such races yet). I was thinking it would look somewhat like a Thri-Kreen (Google it).

Unless you put more detail, description and possibly art I will have to say no. Also I'm sure people have already suggested a similarly themed race. And instead of being lazy and saying "google it" insert a picture.
Not much of a race suggestion. The good ones tend to go into detail about biology, history, society, culture, technology, relationship with other races, etc. More than a few race suggestions don't use any of these, and they all fail. Simply stating what kind of race should be in the game will get the idea nowhere. Besides, we already have the Zaahir. They're close enough to what you're talking about, and easily one of the better race suggestions around.
