I'm on season 2 of Steven's universe.. around episode 10.. And let me tell you.. I really enjoyed watching this show. That's pretty handy ..if possible.
I finished watching steven universe. Verdict: 11/10 My character opinions/etc (main ones) Steven I really like Steven's attitude.. he's so optimistic and mostly energetic. 14?! He's 14?! what the?!?! Blarrrgh! I'm so jealous right now. Still, I'm eager to see him fusing with a gem. Garnet A relationship..a very strong and dependable one. The love between this two (saphire and ruby) is so tight like a super glue. The story about this gem was nice. Dat future vision though. A lil bit OP. Pearl My favorite gem . She's so elegant , strong and tidy. I also like her outbursts when she's getting teased. Sometimes a control freak.. He wields a spear and hast vast knowledge in swords. What else not to like about her? Amethyst Energetic... silly and rough. She's also unique in her own way. She expresses herself with no doubts.. She can even morph! Gawd.. I love morphing skills. Ah yes. Sorry for typing the wrong title of the show.
you like pearl best? i think she's pretty creepy tbh. her relationship with rose, how she treated greg universe, and the creeeeeepy song she sang with connie just put me off her a little. she's still interesting, but she's my least favourite haha. i like peridot better tbh. garnet 4 lyf tho
.Yeah... those things are a lil bit creepy. But she really Idolized Rose... She's like a Goddess to her. And I'm still wondering about her past..We know she fought along side Rose.. but.. what made her Idolize Rose so much? Surely there must be a reason to it. We can be a creep in our own ways.. some people find it distrubing.. some people find it adorable. I guess, it's just a after of perspective. After all, we , or I ..still don't know anything about her past,except the war ( a lil bit). Conclusion: It's a bit hard to judge a character based on some creepy things you saw in her.. Everything has a reason.. Crap.. I forgot about her Peridot Very Innocent when it comes to the earth culture.Her loyalty is what I like about her. Her decisions are very logical.
I dunno, watched Gate (first season yet) and it bought me with its action and different contradistinction. By the time it turned into usual "garemed" fantasy, I already liked this anime
I think my favorites have to be a toss-up between Garnet and Connie, they're both pretty cool characters. Pearl always seemed a little ridiculous to me, but admittedly the team would not be the same without her.
Kind of a late response, but what did you expect the outcome would be when you bring swords to a gun fight? The closest thing they have to being on equal terms would probably be magic, but even then the folks in the fantasy realm are outclassed in every other aspect due to differences in advancements/technology. On another note, if you folks want a good laugh, I'd highly reccomend KONOSUBA. Fantasy setting with some video game elements, this show's probably my favorite from this season. It's downright hilarious.
I guess its hard to describe for me, I get this same feeling in other anime and games too, where there's no real, credible situation, so I'm don't get very invested at what's going on. Got it during Hellsing, and enough episodes of Power Rangers, if that helps.
I second this. The humor is good at times... Some are forced humor.. But it's a casual RPG type anime.. Has a big difference between SAO and LH. Better than this crap Hai to Gensou no Grimgar
there is a fan theory that rose quartz is actually the fourth diamond. basically: all the outdated old tech on earth has the four-sided four-colour diamond symbol (yellow, blue, white, pink), and all the new tech has a tri-colour triangular symbol (white, blue, yellow). every other instance we've seen a diamond, they had a corresponding pearl of that colour/style (blue diamond had a blue pearl and yellow diamond has her snobby yellow pearl) rose quartz is insanely huge, just like the other two diamonds we've seen, compared to other gems rose quartz began a sort of uprising against home world and the gems in order to protect organic life on earth, something the gems don't respect. also, the gems' civilization is very hierarchical, and rose operated much differently in her revolt. the idea is that "pink diamond" is a very hard, rare gem, and rose wanted to inspire her troops by being "one of them" and not necessarily "above them", so she changed her name to rose quartz, because it's aesthetically similar to pink diamond and is also quite durable, but it's extremely common, instead of being extremely rare like pink diamond.
Starting to lose interest in Musaigen no Phantom World. It has pretty animations, but the story is just boring. If you want fanservice, then the show might be for you. Also, Gundam Thunderbolt episode 2 came out today.
