The Angel Eye Carver, otherwise known as AEC, is a small floating jellyfish type creature measuring no larger than 1 foot in height. It consists of a main eye-stalk, surrounded by tentacles with chitinous tips that come to a point, with a small "halo" consisting of a bio luminescent fiber strand that is thinly attached to it's eye-stalk. The AEC is found on low gravity worlds in dark caves and depths where it can almost float by expelling the atmosphere through its central stalk towards the ground, giving it a boobing motion of movement similar to a jellyfish. It's ability to detect movement is dictated by its halo's light, and its ability to perceive shadows moving. Stationary prey can ignore this threat till it passes, as it can't see anything that doesn't displace shadows. Upon finding an enemy it seeks it out using its ability to pressurize its stalk to expel the atmosphere to momentary leap at the prey where as it latches on with it's chitinous tentacles, and burrows its beak in to inject a toxin to slow the prey down, and digest it from the inside out. interesting idea, be a bit difficult to stay still underwater however. i'd personally probly have problems with these things.
