Here's my lazy and sparsely updated art thread! First up is a concept sketch of my eventual Novakid character. More drawings of different races and possibly comics to follow!
Oh my god this is amazing! xD Ampere? You slay me! My major involves a huge deal of electric stuff so i love this If you need an idea for another race: Glitch with briaded hair, but the braids are electrical resistances. Name of the character? "Ohm"
Thanks for the feedback, everyone. And great idea Whaleduck, I'll probably give it a shot! For now, here's a new character! OMGBACKSTORY: Kinpa was raised alone by her hardworking father. While he was considered a brilliant mechanic by most species' standards, his work in what the MiniKnog considered a "primitive" profession yielded little benefits and sparse earnings for himself and his daughter. Having lived her entire life just barely getting by, her father's abduction as an "honored" chosen for VED experimentation was the last push needed to cement Kinpa's loyalties within the Resistence. However, even the most righteous rebellions are easily crushed by Big Ape, and Kinpa soon finds herself wandering space with little more than an empty fuel tank and failed endeavors. But the Apex are nothing if not motivated, and even now every fiber of her being hungers for the chance to avenge the only family she's ever had. That was fun to write. I sort of have a backstory thought up for my Novakid as well, but am hesitant to share the details while so much about the race is still in the dark. Wellp, that's it for now. Hopefully I can get a comic done and posted after all the holiday madness dies down!
Nice stuff, its got the cartoony style that I feel Starbound art needs, but its not too cartoony. If you are ever looking for requests Ill gladly offer up my own character, but as I find it rude to assume I will wait until you say otherwise.
