Amazing game!

Come on. You have to agree with me right? This game is really cool! It has everything that I want in a sandbox game. Good atmosphere, Weather, Quests, Npcs, and everything that makes this game amazing. Anyway, to end this thread, you can all agree with me that is is an amazing game?

Yeah, that seems like a plan. This stage of the game is pretty repetitive.

 

Eh. I just got it today. I really like it. Oh wait. Graphical error .-.?! Forced to close...

 

The game has a lot of potential, and a great foundation. There's a lot of things that are fun, lots of things that are possible, but there's also lots of things that are not balanced (Sector X contains 5 sectors right now), and we've still got a long ways to go. We're in Stage 1 of the beta, and there's 2 stages to go.

The best thing to do is make a post saying what you like, what you think could be improved, and what you would like to see in the game that isn't currently in the game.

Or, if you just want to play the game and have fun? Go for it! Games are meant to be enjoyed, so no one will feel bad if you do so =D

Yep, this is a really good game, and it will only get better.
My suggestion is; Stay out of the forums, at this point the forums may slowly erode your love this game as a ton of people have convinced themselves they just bought Battlecruiser 3000AD (look it up, I had that game at release, so I know what crushing disappointment feels like, Starbound is not like that).
Just play the game and enjoy it. When you get bored, stop playing for a few months then come back to it and there will be a ton of new content. I hope you continue to enjoy the game, and if you hang around in the forums, you continue to have a positive attitude. Here is a picture of your typical Starbound forum user.

that about sums it up . I knew those types of comments would unnecessarily be in a thread like this, but I didn't think it'd happen so quickly.

 

Not yet, but it is getting there. If they succeed in even half their goals stated in the AMA this game will exceed most peoples previous expectations.
As is, it is mostly an unpolished generation and modding engine. Which, is still technically very playable and enjoyable on a building and exploring level.

I just wouldn't call it amazing. More like, interesting, in its potential.

 

The game is quite good, really good and addicting even, but imho very incomplete.
In order to keep playing I'd have to install mods now but I rather do that after I played the game for more than a few days (which I did now, and finished it).

For example quests and upgrades, after a few bosses it completely stops and you can just upgrade to T10 within hours, which kinda saddened me but it's prerelease so I expected as much.
Needs alot of touches, but so far I've enjoyed myself. Waiting for more updates before I jump in again.

 

I feel many people have stopped playing this game and are waiting for either Phase 2 or a update in general. It just came to my attention. Not trying to be a ass. Sorry if I offended anyone
