Blargh, not sure how well that will turn out. Everquest and it's hotkeys and such have always been designed around PC. Nothing against consoles, it's just the whole fewer input buttons on a controller than a KB+M. Especially when you use a mouse like a Naga Razer.

 

Depends on how its mapped.

Also I do hope the terrain destruction lives to its potential.

I doubt it, you can only have so much terrain destruction before weird things start to happen. The issue with mapping to a controller is that you have a lot less flexibility and that leaves little room for error.

 

Is it bad that they lean on the moderators to help disseminate the message? I know everyone wants to hear the message straight from the horses mouth.

I will say that if they're going to use twitter and the twitter feed as kind of their gateway for dynamic news feeds, it's way easier to tweet from anywhere but a concrete building or the middle of nowhere, they need to make the feed more visible on the main page.

Maybe a twitter feed for each dev's twitter account + the starbound twitter account. Band's I used to follow back when myspace was cool would do that, and I thought it was a pretty good way to know when things were going on. Slap that on the main page, and people really can't complain.

twitter should mirror the mainpage, not the other way 'round.

 

I think chrome has apps that disable the cookies they put on you.

 

Too bad Chrome, like anything made by Google, spies on you whenever it's used.

 

i have addons. donottrackme is a fine plugin. even on this very forum page i'm blocking two social media datamining widgets.

I pick the lesser (idk) evil here. I just really don't like facebook site plugins that track you.

 

I had to search up starrybound after I saw the few forum redditors talking about it.

 

I prefer Firefox over Chrome.

Albeit Chucklefish needs to integrate twitter into their main page better if they're going to use it more often, the devs are into using social media. You don't even have to have a twitter account to see their news feeds. If you block one of their main avenues of dynamically giving you news though, you're kind of plugging up the hole and then asking why the waterworks stopped sending you water.
