Am I even running the right version?

Okay, I'm a little confused now.

So a couple of weeks ago I was running the Unstable branch, Upbeat Giraffe Update 2. Then the stable got updated with all the stuff from the unstable so I deleted the game and reinstalled to play the stable instead.

So I've been playing the stable build now...? I mean it's got everything that was in the unstable in it. I did not play the stable prior to the winter update so I have no idea what that was like but by all accounts it didn't have a great deal in it.

In my library it says "Starbound". Before I reinstalled it it said "Starbound [Unstable]" so am I to assume that I'm now running the updated stable?

Also, the Beta tab of properties it says NONE - Opt out of all beta programs. Is that good?

Running the game on the launcher I see: "Current stable version: v. Upbeat Giraffe (it used to say Enraged Koala 8).
And on the main menu it says: Beta v. Upbeat Giraffe - Update 2, Protocol: 666. Main game assets - 03 Feb 2015.

So am I playing the best version right now? i.e the version with the most things in it?

Seriously who's idea was it to name beta versions after animals in various states of annoyance? It's just confusing for everyone.

The current Stable version is Upbeat Giraffe Update 2. There is no current distinct Unstable version yet.

Right now stable and unstable are the same, at least since yesterdays update and the recent influx of stable updates.

Okay, that's what I thought thanks. Just needed to check because it can get quite complicated.
