I'd love to see mounts in game and this would be an easy way to do it without having to create a whole new class of monster/animal. You could make a series of quests and then a boss in order to get the parts to the new machine that would make a specialized form of saddle for the different sizes of monsters/animals. Later you could level them up and teach them special abilities so they could help you fight.
I assume that making a saddle for a procedurally-generated critter is a hell of a tricky thing to make, so...
I'm assuming since they've been doing this for years they would have a work around for this sort thing not mention it would most likely be easier to use what's already in game as apposed to making a whole new class of creatures meaning new models ,animations possibly new spawning system maybe even new game mechanics. Also if a saddle is too hard to do they could just make it a collar.
