Allerbee Meliraptor polluxas ("Honey Raider") An advanced evolutionary member of the superfamily Apoidea, Allerbees are giant terrestrial honey bees. They are notorious for their ability to cause allergic reactions from the powder released from their mouths. Despite their raptorial appearance, Allerbees subsist entirely on flowers and their byproducts. Their lungs function like natural vacuums, allowing them to literally uproot flowers with gale force velocity. In the process, pollen and nectar is also inhaled alongside the various flower debris. Nectar is consumed, while the pollen is stored in a special storage sac underneath its torso. When threatened, an Allerbee expels these stored pollen extractions from its mouth, leaving the offender covered in a cloud of pollen. When mixed with the chemicals stored within its pollen sac, this expulsion doubles the sensitivity to the olfactory senses causing uncontrollable sneezing and tearing. However, should this volatile pollen cloud fail to work, an Allerbee will resort to other methods to defend itself. Its tail, mouth*, and wingtips are barbed with poisonous stingers (*mistaken for fangs). All of these stingers are utilized in a series of slashes, bites, and tail swipes until the target succumbs to the toxins. An injury afflicted by these parts is enough to knock out an adult elephant in mere seconds. As such, it is recommended to avoid provoking an Allerbee unless suitable protection is provided. The consumed nectar reserves can be regurgitated to create honey, much like normal earth bees. Young Allerbees feed off their parents honey for nourishment until eventually they join too them in the consumption of flower fields. Some Allerbees have been domesticated for their honey byproducts and pollen extractions. The pollen stored within their sack aside from its natural uses also functions well as a medical ingredient, ironically. That is, if its properly extracted. Their poisonous barbs and tail plating are usable in the forgery of many different kinds of weapons, namely swords and poisoned bullets. Red Allerbee This crimson red subspecies is far more aggressive than their normally docile cousins. They attack all intruders of their territories on sight, showing no remorse or mercy. As a warning sign, Red Allerbees mark the intruders they kill with their pollen to serve as an example of what will happen to whoever approaches their territory. Comments?
They've evolved to live off a terrestrial lifestyle, so they lost the ability to fly. Their wings are more suitable for threat displays, mating rituals, and other similar tasks rather than flight.
If I saw one of these things charging at me, I swear I wouldn't stop running until I couldn't see it.
You're not just safe closing the doors, lock them and reinforce them with very dense materials or they'll get ya!
As much as I like the idea of randomly generated mobs, pre generated mobs just have more personality. This mob, just like the poptop has certain design that makes it unique.
