All planets appear to be level one?

When I look at my star map, every single planet I view say its level one. I'm assuming this is a bug, is anyone else having this problem?

They did some kinda re balancing and yea

 

As of two patches ago, all the planets in a given sector are the same threat level. When you get to Beta sector, everything will be level 2. Level 3 in Gamma sector and so on.

 

No, it's not a bug. The entire first sector consists entirely of level 1 planets. Unlock more sectors for higher level planets! Get the distress beacon going, eh?

 

The latest large update made each sector have one level, so alpha has level one planets, beta has level 2 and so on.

 

In the big re-balance patch, when they removed Armor Pen, they changed the overall scale from 1-100 to 1-10.

So planets in Alpha used to be 1-10, Beta 11-20, etc, but now Alpha is 1, Beta is 2, etc.

Does the planets have an easy medium hard difficulty? Is there a way to tell which is which?

Not that I know of, But I think something like that is in the works.
