Yes, yes, a million times yes. Before I absolutely dreaded the idea of exploring caves because putting down torches every few meters was tedious and resource consuming, especially now that coal is the only fuel source.
And flashlights just didn't cut it since they only point forward, you never know what is creeping up behind you.(also narrow range)
With this I will be doing much more underground exploration.

As awesome as having backpack-lanterns are, was this thread really necessary?

 

I think so, it's a general forum and besides so many other topics are either painful to read about or have something negative to do about the game.

 

I try to be as light-hearted and carefree as possible.
