Hi folks, i Was just having a good peek at tiy's new forest biome's and something caught my eye and on the third screenshot of the forest biome there was a pyramid in the scenery. So i thought of an ALIEN TEMPLE!! and how they could implement this idea into the game, well my idea is that in terraria you have the dungeon with the old man who you have to set free of his curse by defeating skeletron. So what about if you found on the world a alien temple with a Funny looking Alien dude outside of it and when approached he say's " eo@+^k! if you wanna enter the Temple you must recover the broken hieroglyphic tablets " all on the same principle's of the dungeon in terraria you have to fight some massive alien when u collect the broken tablets for the alien dude and find out he just used you! to gather the alien tablets. If u have anything to add to this idea please feel to use your vast imagination skills! thanks for reading CAMZ.
No, they had contact from aliens. How do you think they built the pyramids in the first place? *sarcasm* Anyway, I'm not sure if this was meant to be a suggestion. If it was, you should ask a mod to move it there for you. Regardless, I think it's a cool idea. The pyramids/temples should be randomized every time, complete with traps and the like. Not to sound too Terraria-like, but boulder traps, poison darts, spike pits, etc. Also, it needs some serious lootations.
Although instead of having multiple chests, there should be one chest at the center filled with lootation.
It's an interesting idea. But non the less it belongs to the suggestion section, try to post in the right section next time
How about, when the alien puts all the pieces together...he turns into a hideous beast which is very strong and drops some epic loot! but the thing is players could just mine themselves in without finding the tablets :/
As said before, needs to be moved to suggestions. Anyways, this could be really interesting. Hell, maybe even have an entire class of mysterious, alien weapons that can only be found in these ancient temples perhaps. Or some sort of alien power source that's better than normal ones.
