With the FU mod you can find them by going to a heck or flesh biome, otherwise I have no idea oh and you posted this on the wrong category

I have heard that Monopus drop them. Monopus usually show up on ocean planets

    [IMG] This is a Monopus

Does anyone have any idea what drops bacon?

AFAIK, bacon, ham, tentacles and offal are undroppable. Unless you find them in some merchant's inventory, no dice.

Bacon and Red Apples are only obtainable by purchasing from the Infinity Express shop at the Outpost.
I have never encountered that, ever. I only know it exists because I got gifted one by a colonist. I also found some Raw Tentacle on a merchant and bought it, but I don't think it can be used in any recipes.

Ocean planets where? On the surface? In the ocean? Under the ocean??

And random merchants, and I also found apples in Avian villages and Glitch towns & castles.

Tentacle can be fried on campfire/stove, but that's all about it. Monopus is your typical flying enemy, spawns above water on Ocean worlds.

In the air slightly above the surface. Monopus can fly, and they love floating into your boat's hitbox and shredding it. Just keep in mind, I have only heard they can drop raw tentacles, I have not tested it yet. It certainly seems logical that a Monopus of all things would drop a tentacle.

They don't. Wiki says they only drop crapace and figurines and after a little safari, I believe that's definetly the case.

I have learned not to trust that wiki.

In this case I would unless the tentacle drop is rarer than a figurine.

I wanted to buy 10 tentacles from a merchant. Accidentally bought 100. But I don't see an option to cook it in the campfire or anywhere else, it's just there occupying a lot of fridge space. How did you get it?

Been wondering that myself. I suspect they're actually supposed to be unobtainable, complete with removed cooking recipe, but were left in as a purchasable item by mistake.

can't they be bought? I think I saw soem florans selling them. but not entirely sure anymore if they were raw or cooked already. But kinda sad that they don't drop form the flaotign mobs in the final mission or can be harvested form the tentacle trees.

Maybe they will come back with higher tier planets. And the tentacle biome, assuming it isn't in the game now.

I bought them in a Glitch village.

I did say that they were accidentally left in as a purchasable item. You can buy them, but as far as I can tell you can't cook them.
