Nothing too extreme. Just want to be able to take all the plants, liquids and metals I've found and mix it to make some sort of concoction with variable effects. It'd be great if I could store them in a bottle which I could either drink or throw at frenemies. If you think about it the possibilities are almost endless! Vendor Potion Vendor and Ingredient Vendor could be then also integrated into the planets. Maybe also some ingredients should be hard to find but also be sold for a high price. Also Recipe Vendors could be added which sell "Superior Recipes". Pixel I dont like the idea, that u need Pixel to craft stuff. So for this: No potions should cost Pixel! Only stuff that u can buy at a vendor ofc.
Yeah i would love to see such a feature. Im a total fan of alchemy in every game! Maybe make it possible to also get buffs like i. e.: Potion of Endurance - Increases Health by 25% for 25 Minuted Potion of iron skin - Reduced damage taken by 5% for 10 Minutes. Potion of Agility - Increases Movement Speed by x for x Minutes. Potion of Strength - Increases Jump height by x for x Minutes Etc.
And here I thought this was going to be a suggestion on changing one element into another. I am disappoint.
Given how much time I spend farming, having somebody drop off a bunch of glass blocks or sand to melt down into glass blocks and letting me do my kitchen magic would be awesome. Whip up some epic boost potions, and pass them off to the party while they go rampage through the solar systems wreaking havok. And letting me get back to cooking and farming. I love the idea!

Nice post Zzyxzz, I really like the detail you went into with it. I think for purposes of ease if your allowed to extract from a resource, you should only be able to do it once. If you could do it twice I think it would be awesome but would take more time for both the dev's to program and for us to learn. I like your potion effects suggestion. I think you can even get a little more creative with them like a potion to make you grow in size which buffs your strength while sacrificing speed. A potion which sets the user on fire and makes whomever touches them set ablaze or even a throwing potion of chaos. There are numerous possibilities with your suggestion. Mind if I sticky it to my first post?
