Ahoy! This suggestion is quite simple, but funny: Add Wilhelm scream when player just dies. Why? Well, this scream appears as an easter egg in a lot of movies and not very often in games (nb. think only in Gold of King Arthur).

I see what you're doing and its basically a nice idea, but since it's kind of an joke it would get repetitive very quickly and you can hardly give every gender and race the same scream
Yeah, sure. Only the character that the player controls AND if he chose male. That wouldn't be so repetitive.
Sure, let's completely ruin the immersion of death, and piss people off with a corny-ass sound effect when they die during a stressful encounter. This would get old really quickly, I'm just glad the devs aren't stupid enough to incorporate this kind of crap ingame. I'm getting really sick of seeing these kinds of suggestions.
Provided that it's one of many possible screams, it'd be fine. While it never fails to amuse me when I hear it in something, I don't want it to be the only scream I hear.
Would be funny if it only happened if you died to a certain enemy or damage type. But not every death, or else it could get annoying.
Maybe it might work as a certain reference at one and only one point in the game. I think I would mute the volume if I heard that every time I died. For instance, maybe use it during the destruction of your homeworld for the death of a bystander.
I think this would be good to add only for specific causes of death, like falling. Because that's when you see it most of the time, plus then it would be sort of rare.
I hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure that somewhere, sometime in recorded history, every possible combination of sounds perceptible to the human ear have been created and heard. What I'm saying is don't be such a sour-puss about "unique" sounds. There aren't any.
