Why in the WORLD would you use a Oculus Rift on a 2d pixel platformer?! :V
And i would sadly not be able to use 2 screens for a long time, my room don't have room for 2 screens and a laptop.

    That's why.

I'd go with the 27" 2560x1400 display over anything else, although most laptops cannot push out the pixels required for them, sadly.

Still can't see the reason to using the Oculus Rift, welp it's just a opinion, i hate 3d and dont think i would ever stand the Oculus rift.
Opinions is opinions and that is what makes us human.

Indeed, and while I normally dislike 3D, I'd love to give the Rift a try with a 2D platformer sandbox game. Especially one that already has screen zoom and panning built in, like Starbound.

It's actually quite helpful in seeing enemies and things that would otherwise be offscreen, especially when you're underground. To each his own though

21 by 9? I don't even want a monitor that wide. I have to move my head left to right on my 24 inch as it is... Maybe I have to see to believe.
