Active Tech Ability Keybindings?

    So after coming across a couple of additional tech abilities, I realized that not only can you only have a single one active at a time (any plans to allow characters to eventually use more than one at a time through some sort of upgrade?), but there's no way to easily switch between which Tech you're currently using besides pulling up the inventory window, which often pops up right in the way of things you need to see, and clicking on another Tech to activate it.

    Any chance we can get a keyboard shortcut to allow us to cycle between locked-in Tech abilities? I was thinking maybe either the numpad or Function keys or something. Or maybe a couple of keys to cycle back and forth, like V cycles to the left, while B cycles to the right, so if you're currently using Tech slot 1, you can hit B to select Tech slot 2.

    Yes, we need some sort of key to change the active tech. I think the active one should be constantly displayed in transparency near the hotbar at the top of the screen. And then when you do change which one is active it goes to 0% transparent for a few seconds to display the new active tech. I think it should be 1 or 2 keys to cycle through them. There can only be up to 4 equipped at a time, why would you need an individual key for each of them? Also I support the idea for multiple active tech, mayhaps like a 1st active cycle key and a 2nd active cycle key. Who knows, it's another idea.

    Agreed with the above post. I've just posted something on another thread about this. This system doesn't feel... right.

    Maybe merge all the Tech related posts (and future ones)? This seem to be a good subject that comes up often.

    Edit: or have a 2 passive (hp+, energy, resist, etc) and 2 active Techs that you can equip at the same time. Add to that the possibility to swing melee weapons in 8 direction and got a pretty solid combat system. You just punch the other platformer games in the face. :p
