Achievements

Right now I have two achievements very few have: A motley Crew, Not a Llama
0.1% of Starbound players have A motley crew which is amazing to me, it is not that hard to get.
I've noticed among my friends though that none played Starbound more than a couple of days....
And I have played it since it came out 1.0 most days since I felt like a had to give it some time after waiting four years...
What do you think about their choice of achievements? Are they fair? Do you feel that they add anything to the game?

 

What do you have to do for those two?

 

I like that they have achievements, and I like that they made then extras. I get really annoyed when games use achievements only as game story checkpoints, like you beat the level, you beat the boss kind of achievements.

All of the achievements are hidden, which I have mixed feelings about. I think knowing what achievements are gives people hints on ways to explore the game, but keeping them hidden makes them nicer when you unlock one without actively trying for it just playing the game. Eventually there will be plenty of cheat sites that week list them all out anyway. If someone really wanted to know what they all are, they'll have that available to them soon

 

Some people don't care about achievements at all. They don't even look at the list.

I don't care much, but since I play a lot of Starbound, I'll try to get the complete list.

I feel like the achievements are pretty fair. The harder ones give people a reason to go out and collect all the collectables at endgame.
