Bug/Issue Access Violation

Issue: Access Violation
When: Startup, at splash screen.
Versions: x86 and x64 versions of the STABLE release.

Troubleshooting steps already taken:
- Starbound.exe is set to run-as-administrator on both versions.
- I have tried x86 and x64 versions natively, and with compatibility modes for win8, win7, vista sp2, vista sp1, vista.
- I have tried running Steam as administrator.
- I have tried running both starbound versions inside and outside of steam.
- No mods are installed.
- I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
- Video drivers have been uninstalled, and reinstalled with most recent versions.
- Audio drivers have been uninstalled, and reinstalled with most recent versions.

Computer Specs (All OC has been disabled for testing)
OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
CPU: Intel i5-760 @ 2.8
RAM: 3x Mushkin Silverline 991770 4GB
Video: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
Audio: Sapphire Radeon HD3450
OS Storage: OCZ Agility SSD (33% free)
Game Storage: Seagate ST3500 HDD (40% free)

 

fixed by reinstalling windows, and using the basic microsoft versions of sound and video drivers.
