It's honestly hard to choose... The funnest one to make so far would have to be Hunter's Spit (the Rathalos helm), I surprisingly had no struggle with it and had a nice time making it.
As for my favorite all together, I've got a few! Mega Boy's Helmet, Hunter's Horn, Hunter's Demon Horn AND Guarding Unit 22.

Just have "pesant hat" its 2 hats, "l33t hat", 3 hats, and finally "godhat, bringer of headwear" where its all of your hats just stacked one ontop of another like 30 high

 

Also the mod developer mini should be just applekid slumped over your head like the gnome hat
