About the Penguin UFO...?

I didn't fought it yet, so do you guys have any tips from me besides getting the Scavenger armor (Copper armor + Iron + Pixels) and the most powerful weapons you can find?

 

I made sure I was prepared as possible but it was pretty easy.

 

Well, I do have a gun. Would that give the same effect?

 

Also as a tip: Fight on low-gravity planets.

It helps, a -lot-.

 

I usually try to get the natural terrain of the planet to help me, and or if there is a village or complex (an apex village/large complex if I'm really lucky) then I use that and hope that the UFO slams into the side of a building and gets stuck there so that I can sit back and shoot at it with my pew pew bow.

 

He is not the hardest now, if you want to solo him look for a flat ground with 1 or 2 higher places so oyu can jump attack it ( or build an arenalike this)

Or you can go easy mode and look for a town or ship. The NPCs will fight it too.

 

Make a flat path out of dirt so you don't have to worry about getting caught up on the terrain. making a dirt roof can help you avoid the blasts from the ship, but the blocks will break. Also the UFO can be set on fire if you have a sword with that ability.

Also, full iron armor helps

 

Summon him in a village or even better on an avian airship. The NPCs will destroy it in seconds!

 

are throwing knives still obscenely overpowered? if so, just find some and faceroll him.
