About the new ships....

So since yesteday (this morning for you maybe) we can see pictures of the florans and glitch ship

To be honest I will be a Floran kay ? But I totally fall in love with the glitch ship :/


So there is my questions :

Do you plan on playing a race but prefer an other race ship ?

Do you think we will be able to stole ship in single player ?

Which ship do you prefer ?

Would be nice to be able to choose which ship style you want. If It's not do-able in game, then renaming certain file names will do the trick, but, who wants to go through that trouble?

 

well your race determines your starter ship, if you want to get a glitch ship as a floran, you'll be able to, you just have to get one, im not sure how to do this mind you but considering you can get other race's everything else, you probably can.

 

I want to be an avian, but every time i see something to do with the florans i reallyreallyreally like them. And to be honest, i really dont like the glitch ship at all :/

 

Currently waiting till I get to see the Avian ship so I'm not sure, so far I like the human ship most.

 

I'm guessing that ships will be just like armor sets and weapons for specific races. You can only use your own race's armor/weapon sets but once you reach late-game you will be able to craft other race's armor's and weapons. As with ships, i'm guessing that once you reach late-game you will be able to use other race's ship customization's

EDIT: I also plan on starting with a novakid no matter what the ship looks like

 

tech ship! I would love to see late game glitch ship, this is my chosen race so i'm fired up!

 

I agree, human is looking superior to other ships.

 

I suspect the Avian ship to pretty much look like the Floran ship, without the vines.
The Floran race reverse engineered their ship based on a crashed Avian ship.

Most Floran ships are hijacked from the other species... their original diaspora ships might have resembled Avian ships, though.

 

There is clearly not enough love fore the Hylotl's around here...

 

The ship types should be locked else they wouldn't make much sense now would they?

Hytotl one, is very "fishy".

 

Modding to have a different ship would take maybe 10 minutes for someone who knows what to look for in C++

 

Floran with Glich ship is my goal.
