About that valentines day update...

The longer the update takes, the less I want it.

 

from what i saw on a dev video 3 of the items are cubid clothes and wings (that move when you move) and a heart hairpin

i do what that hair bin tho

 

I say "nay" (naysayer)... at this point, they're better off aiming for green beer & pots o' gold.

Look i want to run around on a server and force ship people with arrows, YOU CANT STOP IT.

 

Lets face it, the time its taking for them to update the game, if they put valentine shit now, its going to stay there for months.

 

Or maybe only a few minutes because the next patch will make it so they can push content updates way more easily.

 

Am I the only one who laughed when Tyi tweeted "yay we're gonna be together PRACTICALLY ONE UPDATE A DAY YEAH"?

Seriously,who actually buys that.


Or when he started tweeting about "YEAH STARBOUND TOYS".Your game isn't even FINISHED yet and you want us to buy derivated products?Why not once the combat gameplay is actually fun?Or once we get to play the storyline?

Besides they're not very attractive figurines if you look only at what they are.



EDIT:And about valentine's day,I don't see why we are "celebrating" that commercial crap.People do not need a special day to love each other.

I don't see this game as an MMO, so I don't see why not. As long as it's something, say for example, something you can craft or find, like cupid's bow, why not? Cupid isn't limited to Valentine's Day, so I wouldn't have a problem with it.

 

I wouldn't have any issues with Valentines content as long as,like you said,it doesn't keep pixels from dropping like that holiday spirit garbage.

Personally, I would like to see the game updated actually, there has been enough time from the last patch. And if some content is added with the Valentine`s day, it`s ok for me. If it annoys you, I`m more than sure there will be a mod excluding it from the game.

It means improved VDay bows. So yes. I want bows.

 

I'd much rather have basic, much-requested features implemented than random holiday stuff that's already outdated.

 

i would rather have some update containing content relevant to the game's progression. since you know, there's hardly been any update to the actual game this year (read: not mods, or holiday baloney). was the fourth boss implemented this year, or back in december? cant even remember

hardly visit these forums anymore because im tired of seeing posts on the homepage about the 'future' of starbound. the ideas are great, but i wonder when the 'future' is actually gonna arrive.

nevermind that the devs apparently post updates on every social media platform but this one. i hate reading forums, or any webpage for that matter, with white backgrounds

 

Minecraft kinda lost its feel since they made all those updates...Somehow,I have the feeling that when it was much simpler it was actually more fun,maybe it would lose a bit of replay value but now it's all about HEY LOOK CUBIC FIREWORKS LOLOLL.I was very happy with my glass in cubes,making fortresses in the mountains...Now each time you start a new game you just HAVE to do all the other shit.

Besides the game is breaking more and more.More glitches,more balance problems...Now a skeleton will always hit you and shoot an arrow every two seconds so you can't even actually RUN to them.Also they made Minecraft more "mutli-friendly"...So apparently that means having lag in singleplayer.Clap clap to that logic.



And yeah @ry4444n that's also getting on my nerves as well.I mean they do what they want but they seem much more focused on telling that they plan to add shield mechanics (which seem absolutely terrible,that would maybe make it even more boring) than actually thinking about good ideas.Speaking of they still aren't looking at suggestions anymore.

 

hey, if it's wicked cool and stuff I'd use it.
say, a hat that's a heart with an arrow through it. I would totally wear that all the time (until I found the rainbow hood and cape which has alluded me so far)
