Perhaps we could orbit them like any other planet. But instead of beaming down, climb out of your ship and place a item with jets on the bottom that can be placed without an wall or ground anchor. Then... You build. Perhaps the exotic gases the planet is made from can be extracted via some means for crafting. The background graphic could be swirling mist and the entire screen could be discolored. It would be a great environment for creative building, methinks.
Aww man takes me back to my Eve Online days when I would scour the universe for gas clouds, harvest them via gas extration modules then cart the bounty back to my player owned starbase to manufacture into boosters. So... Yes please ! I yearn to be intergalactic drug lord once again.
