Please give the Wire Tool the same range as the Matter Manipulator and Paint Tool. I'm really tired of having to be right next to something to start or finish a wiring connection, especially when I'm trying to bury a logic gate into some blocks so that it can't easily be seen.
I kinda agree, too. Why should mining be supereasy because of the MM's range, and wiring is a hassle - doesn't seem consistent from ingame logic nor gameplay.
what would be amazing and actually create an incentive, personally, to get into wiring is to remove the distance limitation altogether, as well as the camera scrolling cap when using the wiring tool so that you can just kind of do whatever you want since this puts a grand total of no significant detriment to gameplay at all
Use /admin, it extends the Wiring Tool's range to infinite. As for why it's not always like that, I can't give a satisfactory answer.
