A symbol for Pixels

There was a good point about not having to go all the way over to P if you hit $, and using just * solves that, to me *p works if you want to take the time to do it, cause its close enough to *... I think both could be used and you should use either based on your preference

Well, theres always a chance of making a typo, just gotta check your typing first, someone can always hit ; instead of p

EDIT: How hard would it be to just display that or any other symbol when the $ key is hit?

 

That could be easily fixed with something like additionally having to press Ctrl in order to display an actual dollar sign.

hmm...the only symbol that would come to mind would be the ^ symbol? so... 10000^? but 1000P sounds good either way~ in fact it kinds matches.

Nothing. A Shift+4 does a dollar sign $, though. I think this was about it.

 

The idea was that if someone wanted to make a dollar sign and Shift+4 is used to make the pixel symbol Ctrl+Shift+4 could be used.

There is a program to customize keyboard shortcuts for symbols, but everyone would have to get it and that'd be annoying...

Also, is there any way to add a poll to this thread or is it too late for that?

 

Yea... but what about on these forums? I HIGHLY agree with a special ingame symbol though...

A solution for usage on the forums is to make an emotocon for it that would look identical to the ingame one.
