So far, for each of the races posted, they have serious problems in their worlds, but legend has it that a few (presumably including the player) have turned their back on whatever causes these problems, and escape or are shunned by the rest of their race.

Probably says that there won't be many others, like cities or anything. Just small villages everywhere. Just my idea on this.

Well then, I'll just hope that this pattern doesn't cause the Hyotls to start rambling on and on about honor.

    yes.
that is to allow us to play as anything we want without being constrained to a religion or other beliefs throughout each race

    Three reasons:
    1. It allows the player to do canon roleplay while still able to be unique and nonconformist to their race.
    2. There are free radicals in every system. Its what started life itself, and there are always things that defy the norm.
    3. Being an outcast gives you an excuse to fight your own race.

I noticed that all of them have two legs and two arms. Coincidence?

The main pattern I see so far with race info released is that they often contradict what someone would consider there 'stereotypical' description.
