A new Wallpaper of the Month + Water Physics + new Gif + secret screenshot!

If you don't know already, Fetalstar posted an amazing new wallpaper of the month on the homepage, featuring the tentacle planet fighting a dude. Yes, the whole planet is fighting the dude. And losing.

Also, something that you might not know, Tiy has posted something on the IRC pertaining to water pressure:

There's also a new mob on a Gif, although I admit I've lost the link to that image.
Also, some people may not have seen a fourth biome image that Tiy's posted somewhere else.

I wonder how physics-y water will be. If it's extremely thorough with like actual drops of water, then I think there will probably be lag problems with a lot of water in one place : /. But who knows, we will see some in the video they are making.

Not at all, I saw Tiy spawn water enough to drown quite a few mobs, and it didn't lag at all. It's all in how its coded. Terraria for example had a LIMIT coded into it, not more than 1000 blocks of water COULD move at one time. Starbound suffers from no such restriction.

 

Someone told me that Tiy had actually showed water physics on a livestream. Why didn't anyone make a fuss about that? Link?

That link is legris' livestream, he's one of the devs. Tiy actually did his OWN livestream, and yeah, he showed us the water. He didn't record any of it though, he was just hanging out with some of us from IRC really. They're working on a video right now, that will hopefully be out very soon.
