A little help in Sector X

Alright so I'm back at tier 4 from last patch (phew) but since it's all changed I'm not quite sure what to do, first off the enemies in sector X are absurdly powerful, my main weapon is currently 2876 DPS and 3837 damage per swing and unless I box the enemy in I have no chance, it still takes 3 or 4 hits to kill them, madness

anyway, Aegisalt ore, I've hopped around a couple of planets on Sector X but can't seem to find any, I remember the tooltip before the last patch said planets level 32 (33) but of course that's no help here, Level 3 is gamma, level 4 is X

Has anyone found any Aegisalt, does ...ium? (the blue version of rubium, can't remember the name) spawn too? I've caved quite a bit on X but seen none

tons of rubium, tons of uranium, plutonium etc but zilch of the other two

 

Alpha 1, Beta 2, Gamma 3, Delta 4, X 5-10

Like the tooltip of Aegisalt technology says, it is found in level 5 planets if i remember right

 

Just a quick question seeing how you got to the end game.
Does any planet on the X sector have platinum? ( 5-10 or maybe lets say 7,8 )

I'm currently on a threat level 10 planet and I'm finding platinum but I was finding it before sector X, heck I was finding it on the first planet i landed on just very small amounts

 

To be incredibly clear, only certain threat level(TL) planets have the end-game ores: TL5 has Aegisalt, TL 7 has Cerulium, and TL 10 has Rubium.
Aegisalt leads to Ferozium, the alloy version of Aegisalt,
Ferozium leads to Cerulium,
Cerulium leads to its alloy version,
That leads to Rubium,
Rubium goes to Impervium if I recall. This is the highest and final tier in the game thus far.

 

First time in Sector X. I need to find a planet that is Level 5 and has an Avian Airship so I can get better guns, swords and find Aegisalt. Also, tell me the biome too, as I am very wary of Volcanic and Magma biomes as I do not like them.

 

You can find plenty of Aegisalt close enough to the surface of threat-level 5 worlds in sector X even if they are grassland or jungle biomes. Get strong enough on those kind of planets to upgrade your technology, first at the cost of 40 Aegisalt bars and then at the cost of 40 more Aegisalt bars and 40 coal to venture to higher threat-level planets. Keep in mind that threat-level 10 planets are not superbly balanced as that's approaching end-game content.

 

Got into sector X, found a nice gun, died about 50 times just trying to traverse the world for aegisalt, 0/0. guessing I ought look for more techs til I can handle it.

It's absolute that you either go level by level or you'll fail. I did find some aegisalt on a lvl 5 planet. the added fuel options blew my mind though. that and the hundred diamonds that fell from the pool of sand during that one caving..
Other than that a new tech I've yet to get working, the butterfly something?

 

Butterfly boost is a left/right speed boost that defies gravity. Just hold left or right(A or D) and press the space bar to boost while inside a bubble and leaving a trail of butterflies.
As for Aegisalt, I've found it on the level 5 planets I've went to after digging a bit, however later found it on those planets at surface level. It should be there....
In my experiences, Iron/Copper/Silver/Gold/Platinum/Diamond and Coal are found on every planet.
Titanium is found on planets in Gamma and Delta
Aegis is found on level 5 and 6?(unconfirmed by me) planets
Cerillium is found on level 7 and 8?(unconfirmed by me) planets
Rubium is found on level 9 and 10 planets
Uranium is found on level 5-10 planets
Plutonium is found on 7-10 I believe... or maybe it was 9-10
I've never found Solarium

Ore concentrations increase the deeper you go on a world and for higher tier worlds

Rare base ores like Platinum and Diamond will mostly be found deep on lower tier planets and in limited quantites

 

Funny to read that, as i just raised my second character to imprevium, and this time i didn't go by level.
Jumped on lvl 6 planet, drilled deep underground, dirt boxed all monsters, didn't bother to kill them, collected 160 ageisalt, made tech upgrades.
Jumped on lvl 8, repeat.
Jumped on lvl 10, repeat, made imprevium gear.

 

At this point I'm sporting a full imperialum(?) set of gear. the game can be quite interesting for sure, I wonder if I can pokeball a sub-boss mob....
Other than that just cruising around...
