I'm not sure if anyone is watching this thread who can help, but is the update ok to use on the forest map? im super new with modding and i dont want to mess anything up haha
I think it should be. If you run into any problems just say so and someone will try to help. It shouldn't wreck your game if there's a texture problem, it'll just look funny. Likely there will be a big black box or something if something is missing.
I have been using the forest map and I've been using d4rkgcr's updated version of this mod (found on the 3rd page of this thread) and I haven't found any problems so far. I've played through spring and summer. Make sure you use the updated version though, d4rkgcr posted their version and then in another post after than one posted an update for it.
Thank you very much! i'll install in tonight after work, do you just replace the files? again, thank you!
@ eemie why is the hoed dirt so pale? the ground dry dirt and alll looks great but the hoed looks weird. i used the first mod u posted
This isn't a mod as much as a texture, you place the downloaded XNBs in the content folder replacing the old XNB files. Yes, it works in 1.1 (I am not responsible for missing textures.) That being said i would love a version that only changes the dirt color and not the grass color.
If the game has updated since this mod was released and this mod originally changes a file that was updated. In that cases there might be missing textures. There are none so its safe to use. (That i noticed)
i know this is super old, but I started playing again, using "Light Dirt - Grass 2" and it's great - the only thing about it I don't like, is that the hoed dirt is exactly the same as the other unhoed dirt around it, and the only way you know it's hoed dirt is it has a border around it...
Ok, so I know this will probably sound stupid, but I am very new to the Starfew Valley world, and I have no idea how to install this mod into my game... could you tell me where I am supposed to put this file in? Thank you
