A neat feature that could be implemented to this game would be different gravity for different locations. Now, chances are that this has been suggested already, so if it has, just say so so I can feel insignificant and foolish. Anyways, my idea for this would be that different planets could have higher or lower gravity, with a majority of them having the 'normal' gravity. Also, if they implement things like abandoned space stations or something, they could make zero-gravity places that would allow you to walk along walls and ceilings, and jumps would be one-way tickets to the opposite plane.
Dude, I would like to see this in game. I have no idea if it has been suggested elsewhere, But I wouldn't mind this at all. I especially like the Abandoned Space Stations. I want to raid a derelict or two while I'm playing!
as others have stated i also very much would like this feature but, id like to see that in say zero gravity the player can jump high and has slow falling etc. etc. however with special boots or gear the player can hover around in zero-g environments or maybe move a little faster when jumping or choose to fall quicker etc. as they please because of the special boots/gear
While I agree with the idea of special gear allowing for hovering around in zero-g and the like, I simply must point out that putting any amount of gravity in zero-gravity kinda defeats the whole zero aspect of it. There would (probably) be the less-gravity planets that do what you're asking, but to give zero-gravity places gravity would just kill the idea of zero-gravity.
We could also have monsters that could take advantage of different gravity levels if it gets implement.
Haven't the devs already said that the planets gravity would be different depending on the planet? It could be my failing memory, but I believe it's going down. And I do love the idea of different gravity per planet.
