Some of these monsters are randomly generated just because Tiy wasn't here? They all look really weird.

 

you know instead of quoting the entire OP, you could either not quote at all- still leaving you as responding to the thread in its entirety, or you could replace the entirety of the quote with something like "" since its so large and we all know what it contains.

but yes, the Devs are releasing a randomly generated monster every friday to show off how that small portion of Starbound is coming along. Personally I find no problem with any of the sprites, as the different pieces used for each one blend together seemlessly to form beasts we may never even see in the actual game.

 

So not all of these randomly generated monsters will be in the actual Starbound later?

No, just the chances of anyone finding the exact species is incredibly slim.

let me emphasize.
"WE MAY NEVER SEE IN THE ACTUAL GAME".
this is because there will be or already are millions of potential monsters to show up in the Game proper by launch.
Each planet will have a limit of how many monsters can appear on it.
If this thread reaches 50 monsters before release, you'd still be looking at 50 instances out of 1,000,000. and there would still be more, as the Devs haven't stopped adding to the generation list, nor do I believe they intend to stop.
Please read what other people say and that you quote more carefully, because its irritating to have people put words in my mouth.
