A Generated Monster Every Friday!

Exactly, that's what makes the most sense, I think.

 

I'd think that'd be fine, but I still distinctly remember one of the devs saying they liked the random text name thing (where each part would produce a pronounceable syllable that looked something along the lines of random text), which I don't really like.

It's not going to stop me from loving the game, though

 

Honestly, I don't know which I like more. Some hilarious names could come out of that type of generator, but having it generate more "normal" names based on parts is, in my opinion, probably the best choice.

 

Not a name for actual people, a name for randomly generated monsters in-game!

 

I would assume they would add a randomized name for your playable species, too. Just as a creation option. If not, that would be pretty nifty, but it isn't a required feature by any means.

the new monster reminds me of caterpie with legs and a shell; i don't know why it just.does

But the thingy has an abdomen and a chest. It kind of defeats the purpose of the snail shell . None the less it looks cool

 

I meant for like, the randomized mobs. I would assume we'll be fighting against the playable races at some point. I bet they would have randomized names. I knew about the character creator's name randomizer, I dunno why I didn't think about that in my last post. I got my thoughts all jumbled up and stuff!

 

I wonder if this means that peaceful non-aggressive Monsters are possible in-game...?

 

Maybe if you took it's shell it would get angry and become hostile? haha
