Well, obviously it's Death mixed with a dinosaur, half out of it's shell.

 

Actually it was a platypus.

What is it?

 

I have no idea. The skeleton mask makes me very confused of what it really is. And then there is the egg shell that has spots on it...really strange.

It's like the equivalent of Cubone.

 

Space Cubone, just being born.

 

I wonder what other monster will look similar to a Pokemon...

Every Pokemon must have a StarBound alternative!

Wait! Look in the silhouettes to the left. You can spot a Creeper from Minecraft, a Poptop, and, oddly, a Diggle from Dungeons of Dredmor! I KNOW it's a diggle because of the drill nose and its shape. If you can't see the diggle, look DoD up.
EDIT: Oh hey! A fluro!

 

Those were only drawn in the picture because they were announced to be in the game since forever ago. You can see the announced cameo vessel monster too.

Yeah. It's the only cameo game I've yet to play, but I got it in the recent humble bundle so I'll get to it soon...

I hope there are a few more cameo enemies as well... I can think of a few indie game enemies that'd fit in nicely
