A few questions about these preorder player designed items

So a couple of questions:
1.Are they gonna be avaible on launch or will they be added later?
2.When will we be contacted by Chucklefish to decide them?
3.Will these items be limited to a single color? Like if i suggest a hat thats red there cant be a hat with the same design but thats blue?
4.Can we decide the rarity or how these items will be obtained ingame? If not can we know how so we dont have to spend 30 hours stumbling through the game trying to find them?
5.Will the hats be cosmetic or will they actuly provide some sort of bonus that we can decide? Like +stats.

Thats it for now, I did a brief but not very thourough search but couldn't find any up to date answers on the questions.
Apologise if i was slightly incompetent and missed something in the FAQ.

3.I think you will be able to color them like any other weapon

god damit I wish I bout one .....what cant a guy make a giant dildo anymore

 

I just hope that there won't be too many ridicules items, I am expecting some but if that's all the players made I am going to be disappointed. But yes I think that's pretty much whats going to happen. They will be there at launch. They will contact you. The colors might be up to you because YOU are the one making it. I wasn't sure about that one and I will remain as such, if they do then that's awesome. I hope people don't overpower their stuff if that's the case, or that least Chucklefish not allowing that to happen.

 

chucklefish will likely forces them to make something not to silly and not to op they will likely be tier 1 weapons or maybe a little trinket that summons navi or something like that

 

That's what I thought too, and I hope that's the case.
