I decided to create this thread because i can't find these informations...

    1. how do i rotate stuff? for example the wooden support starts at 45° angle. is there a way to "mirror" it ?
    2. how does the L/R hands work ? i have never been able to hold 2 one-handed items, nor i don't understand what are the LR for...
    3. is there a way to see how long is the night going to last ?
    4. how do the scanner work?
    5. how do the techs things work ?

    Thank you

    1. The only way you can currently "Rotate things" is the direction it's face is the same direction you are facing when you place it.
    2. I typically have a shield in one hand, and click on it to bring it up to defend. Beyond that, I typically don't use the L/R feature.
    3. At this time no, there is not, hopefully they will also add a feature that sleeping makes time pass faster, but that'd just be something I'd like to see.
    4. The scanner, I'm assuming you mean 3d printer. It takes decorative items (Just literal decorations) and destroys the item, so you can buy multiples of it for Pixels from the 3d Printer. It's useful for decorating, if you have Pixels to burn.
    5. Tech abilities are things you find in chests usually (Or blue prints) Normally, you go to the same panel as your 3d Printer, and click the other "Tech" button, then you click on a Tech and "Lock in" the tech, then depending on the Tech, you might get a double jump, a sliding dash forward, or something else when you activate it. (Most of the Tech I've found effect my jumps, so double "Jumping" does both the gliding forward the direction your going, and the double jump. I don't know what all other Techs are out there yet).

    Happy Gaming. :)

    1. the wooden supports will auto-snap to whatever corner its going to be in.
    2. L Left mouse button, R Right mouse button.

2 1handers can fit in each slot, but if one is a 2h'er the 1h'er wont show up.
    3. currently no. not sure if there is even a suggestion for that.
    4. the Scanner being the 3D printer? basically scan what item you want. Example. Gold candle, scan that in the 3D printer, pay 200 pixels for a new gold candle.
    5. Techs range from different ways. but in order to use them, first go to where the 3d printer is located and click on the button saying techs (not sure if you have to first use the tech in your hotbar), they ones available should be in a list and you add them to your character.

    1. you rotate stuff by just clicking A or D. Some things (like wooden support and spotlights) are rotated automatically depends when you try to place it. For supports just try to mouse over the wall that rotated one should connect.
    2. L/R are really useful to change quickly stuff. you can put 2x2-handed weapons there, but it won't work. so try to put there only one handed things. And now. if you put flashlight in your left slot and dagger (one handed weapon) in right slot then you click for example "2" (where you hold something that's 2-handed) then click 2 again (or x if i remember well) you will switch between your wepon and L/R slots. Moreover - if you click for example "3" and you have there one-handed thing, you will automatically hold this in your left hand while your right hand will be filled with item from R slot. So basically. It's really usefull to have flashlight in slot L (easy access to this thing) and something one handed to defend in R slot - that's my advice.
    3. i didn't figure out that one yet
    4. scanner is preety neat tool. when something has it own price (decorative items mainly) you can put that item into "scan" slot. Remember. if you scan something it will be destroyed (scanning costs pixels). BUT after scanning thing, you can duplicate it by paying pixels for that (price on the bottom left when you mouse over item in your inventory)
    5. when you find and learn any techs, you can add/change them to your character only in the ship. You should find out how to use them for yourself. I only know that to use dash you have to click A or D twice.

good luck with your adventures ;)

The support beam doesn't seem to snap or mirror. I've tried so many different ways of possibly achieving this but no.... they're always the same even on other people's screenshots. :)
