I agree with anything bucket related, this is the kinda stuff that lets people with creativity create amazing things, Which is why Minecraft lived for so long, and why Terriea never got that popular. Anyone who finished that game could go back to it to build mansions, and odd contraptions using the in-game tools. I urge any devs reading this to add the lvl 2 basics when It comes to build and craft. Just go a little farther than Minecraft to make it unique. And adding a bucket while definitely help forward this.
Of course there will be liquid manipulation items, and probably fairly advanced ones, given the addition of all the new wiring stuff.
Yeah Terraria never became as popular as minecraft because of the lack of a bucket. Hahahah seriously.
How would it work though? Surely a bucket that looks relative sized could only hold like one tiny square of liquid
Well liquid transport... where shall we start? Ladies and Gentlemen i would like to add a bit of logic into this alongside of tiered equipment. Now the terraria buckets could pick it all up including lava. that sounds like magic to me and my friends this is not a magic game. To pick up lava i would like to see a really isolated bucket if you were to even pick it up. As for normal things like water and poison sludge i would love to later see pumps with some liquid logic to it.
Never really played it so I wouldn't know, was just going on information given to me here. I'd be all for water pumps, that would be awesome
Look, don't worry about it. They included water pressure and stuff in, and soon they're adding logic gates to wiring. They will add liquid manipulation tools, possibly in the Hylotl bases as well.
I'd say considering this games fluid mechanics a vacuum type item that holds up to a certain amount of a single liquid type at a time (meaning you'd still need more than one to transport multiple liquid types at once but once emptied could be used for whatever) would work better than buckets. Left click for suck right click for spray.
