I was browsing some solar systems, when i found 9 planets orbiting one gas giant, this is my personal record by far, what about you guys? link down below of me finding it in X sector

The coordinates are x1000001560 y999999962 (Yes, the x goes past the 999999999 limit)

Mine is the average mental age of most redditors... which is 8.

never found that many, that is from what I remember; but have gotten close to it. I usually find systems with lots of planets, and check those to see if there are plenty around those, or at least ones I am looking for specifically at that moment...

So this doesn't surprise me at all. It is to be expected. :D

I found solar sistem without planets: Delta 2268 92.

minor nitpick, when something is orbiting a planet, it is a moon.

    That's no moon.

Well if you wanna get technical about it, yes it is. It's an artificial satellite. Unlike with planets the International Astronomical Association does not have a very strict definition of moon. So long as something is orbiting a planet it is the moon

And every moon is technically a satelite. Non-Artifical/Natural Satelites... The moon of our planet is a natural satelite of earth. While all man-made objects in earths orbit are artifical satelites.

Also interesting fact: There are rumors about an "artifical satelite" nicknamed "Black Knight" which is supposed to be in an Orbit above antartica. Well you and I would say: Thats either a artificial, man made satelite or Debris probaly. But what if I told you that this thing appeared for the first time in the late 60th on an photo done by an rather primitiv probe. And noone back at that point was capable of launching rockets into that particular Orbit at that point, means nobody knows who created this thing. Creepy huh? Well I still say its debris, maybe just debris from some kind of meteorite or so... or some error while taking the images.

The "artificial" part of it disqualifies it from being a moon.
Edit: and I'm assuming that by IAA you actually mean the IAU, and those were the people who came up with "dwarf planet." So, yeah, obviously not people who should be in charge of naming conventions.

Yeah, you need more than Wikipedia to say that.

Look at the refrences and you should find something

    such off topic c:
go home cybey, we have fire \o/
For some unknown odd reason, I never really counted how many planets I found on my systems :(

Well technically it's on the topic of planets Lobsey.
