  3. Vuldreg

    Vuldreg Cosmic Narwhal

Hope we can catch those new critters like the other bugs, Also good to see grass and snow but would be great to have all the surface layers able to be place back down after they've previously been removed.

  4. El_Karto

    El_Karto Scruffy Nerf-Herder

Catch few birds in cage? Why not?
Ex. U can find different cages or recipes in different villages or locations.
For example wooden, metal, plastic, steel, futuristic, glass cages in avian, floran, glitch, human, apex, mushroom villages.
And in some apex laboratories, abandoned mines, sewage, avian skyships. Few cages in different shops.

Yes, I believed that people would generally get that impression from the emote with the question mark accompanying the image, this being a garden critter thread with a garden beetle being posted which is neither an "image macro" or "reaction gif"

It's a clean photograph relating to the current content, I just didn't believe anyone would lack such a human component as to even think it was spam and taint the thread with a negative reaction.

You're in luck then, because there are 2 of those!

Here is an updated image with all the current critters and a list of where they spawn:

    • Lush (starter planets): Bird, Hedgehog, Snail, Tortoise, Mouse, Bunny
    • Desert: Armadillo, Mouse
    • Forest: Bird, Blip, Mouse, Snail, Sporeling, Squirrel, Owl
    • Forest - Mushroom Patch: Sporeling
    • Ocean: Gull
    • Jungle: Bird, Frog
    • Alien: Bounce Bag, Float Bag, Sack Bag, Snoogle (the pink one)
    • Alien - Eyepatch minibiome: Eye Friend, Eye Pod
    • Snow: Common Bunny, Reasonable*
    • Tundra: Bunny, Reasonable*
    * The critter in middle of the bottom row is called "Reasonable". Odd looks come with an odd name I guess.

    There are 21 total critters now. X3 12 Earth-like and 9 Alien.

Edit: Image and spawn location list brought up to date, more details on the updates here.

    Edit2: Added Desert Tortoise.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! but why are so many of them earth like and the only ones that arent are from alien planets they are still different planets

"Reasonable" is clearly alien yet appears on Snow and Tundra planets.

40% of critters right now are alien. So there are plenty of alien ones and some on other planets already.

I'm also going to quote myself here:
Basically, please keep in mind that this is super early and not finished. Just like how when you posted your first comment there were only 3 critters, and now there are 18.

Anyway, I forgot I posted another tidbit about critters, I'll quote that too:

Oh ok but will there be jelly fish

Look at the orange and blue one in the bottom left. It is nearly identical to your avatar, just different colors.

Ingame it sorta hops and floats around. It is basically a jellyfish.

(So really, all of your questions have been answered by the same post of mine above, #89)

Edit: Critter image and spawn location list a few posts up have been updated.
