Sweeeeet love the ship. Although if it doesnt work out, thats fine. Just having multiple preset ship types would be fine for me

Super update btw Tbh though, I don't think the ship looks awesome like that either. The concept of expanding the ship is neat, but maybe with ship specific blocks or "premade" expansions you can "buy" provided you have the necessary resources (i.e. the game builds it for you provided you have enough ship blocks)?

Hell yeah for the campsites. Would incredibly add to a nomadic playstyle.

But on the spaceship building aspect, honestly the first thing I thought of when I came here was you HAVE to be able to build onto your spaceship. I made a suggestion thread about it a few weeks ago and it seemed like a lot of people agreed with me. It looks bad because those blocks are just so out of place, but if you used the same sprites that are part of the original spaceship it would be a lot more smooth. We, or I, NEED THIS ASPECT PWEASE.

Maybe you can edit the spaceship sprite so it blends better, or just make it into an actual structure instead? I understand it's easier said than done.

 

I personally love the idea of an expandable ship. Block by block does look clunky and poor unfortunately. I wouldn't mind if you had to save or set aside certain blocks in a special spot, to save up for buying pre-built structures on my ship as well. Kind of like.... "You save 4000 of block X, 400 of block Y, and 200 of block Z and we'll upgrade your ship with part ____." Even that would be pretty awesome and give us something to work towards.

 

Will these new blocks for the ships look like they belong to the ship? Will they be the same size? Will they be able to go at any angle, sort of like how the ship is built?

 

looks great! Though, i really would like the option to build onto my ship, even if it looks like an ugly hunk of metal to some, it will look nice to me, or the original builder. Ship hull blocks is also a good idea, if you do make this part of the game, it would look nasty if you had half your ship made of dirt, but maybe not for some? oh well, good update Tiy and the rest of the crew, thanks for the hard work mates!

 

cant wait to see the tools but yeah being able to build your own ship would be cool
